	9/3/08 Sent my old friend through the pearly gates this morning with a belly full of horse cake. She's brought me more joy than I can account for...Gave me 7 beautiful Morgan foals, all but one of which are bringing happiness to their people, Peaches, the last daughter, I have kept for myself. Many of the happiest miles I have travelled on my journey have been on her broad back, I have seen a lot of wonderful country from that lovely perch.
