This unique half-seat is built on one of Rod  Nikkel's trees, a 3B Visalia with an 11" wide fork.  The  15 1/2 inch half seat is covered in a shrunken shoulder type of leather.  It has brass bound rope rolls on the lip of the fork, and on the cantle back and is carved throughout with a feather border.  The cantle is 4 1/2" high, 12 1/2" wide.
